CRA has issued the following guidelines as part of the Qatar trust services framework documentation.
Obtaining a license to operate as a Trust Service Provider is an integral step to offer trust services within the Qatar trust services framework. To assist (qualified) trust service providers in this process, these guidelines outline the step-by-step procedure for obtaining this license. The guidelines will cover the entire lifecycle of the licensing process, starting from the application to issuance, renewal, and termination. It will provide (qualified) trust service providers with a clearer understanding of the expectations, requirements, and processes involved in obtaining and maintaining a license to offer (qualified) trust service.
It aims to provide guidelines for the validation of qualified and advanced electronic signatures and seals based on the content of the national trusted list.
