President Decision No. (24) of 2019 issuing a Decision and Orders in relation to Ooredoo’s complaint against Energy City Qatar regarding “ACCESS TO PASSIVE CIVIL INFRASTRUCTURE IN ENERGY CITY QATAR”

Ooredoo P.Q.S.C. (“Ooredoo”) lodged a complaint against Energy City Qatar (“ECQ”) alleging ECQ has breached various provisions of the Telecommunications Law and By-Law as well as the provisions of the Passive Civil Infrastructure Access Regulation and ECQ refused the request of Ooredoo to provide access to the ducts of ECQ. The CRA investigated these claims under the Dispute Regulations Process. The CRA issued a Decision to ECQ to grant access to Service Providers to their Passive Civil Infrastructure and this access shall comply with the requirements set in the Access Regulation and detailed template Standard Access Offer under the CRA President Decision No. 7 of 2016.
