ictQATAR today published web links to “Small-Office Home-Office (SOHO) and Residential Services - Internal Cabling Guidelines”. Prepared jointly by Ooredoo, Q.NBN and Vodafone, these guidelines provide advice on telecommunications aspects that need to be considered during the design of internal wiring and civil infrastructure for residential and SOHO premises.
Through these guidelines, the Licensed Operators in Qatar encourage landlords, building owners and developers to follow the standards set out in the document so that internal wiring is able to support the performance and quality of the telecommunications services offered by the operators.
The target audience for this document is wiring designers, network engineers and construction consultants. The guidelines are published by the telecommunications operators in Qatar in both Arabic and English language and can be viewed at the following web links:
