CRA approves Reference Offers (ROs) of Ooredoo and Vodafone

ROs approved by CRA include non-discriminatory and transparent terms and conditions in relation to interconnection and/or access, for Interconnection Products and Transmission Links.

The Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) has issued two Orders approving:

  • The Reference Interconnection Offers (RIO) of Ooredoo and Vodafone
  • The Reference Transmission Offer (RTO) of Ooredoo

Ooredoo and Vodafone were required by CRA to develop Reference Offers as part of their obligation as a Dominant Service Providers (DSP) in the Relevant Markets. The approval of the ROs is an important step for the provision of wholesale products on fair and non-discriminatory basis to foster a competitive telecommunications market. The SPs are now required to publish these ROs on their webpages. As a next step the SPs will negotiate and sign new agreements, based on the ROs.

The Orders approving the ROs, along with the approved ROs, can be downloaded here.

NB: the charges of the products included in the approved ROs have been set by CRA with a separate Order.
