Financial Sanctions Committee Decision No. (3) regarding the non-compliance of the company With the Communications Regulatory Authority request to provide approval for reference proposals Wholesale to access wholesale broadband delivery services

Impose the following penalties according to Schedule No. (1) of the provisions of the Telecommunications Law:

 

1- An amount of (1,000,000QAR) One million Qatari riyals in penalty for Violating access instructions; This is for Ooredoo denied access to wholesale broadband delivery services from fixed locations and leased lines.

 

2- An amount of (1,000,000QAR) One million Qatari riyals in penalty for Violation of the instructions pertaining to interconnection between operators; This is because Ooredoo violation Art. 11, 18, 19 and 25 of the Telecom Law setting obligations regarding access and interconnection; Art. 51 of the Telecom Bylaw, and Ooredoo’s license (Annex F-4.1).

 

The total amount of the financial penalty: (2,000,000 QAR) Two million Qatari riyals.
