President Decision No. (29) of 2019 issuing a Decision and Orders in relation to Vodafone’s Dispute against Ooredoo for Ooredoo’s refusal to provide access to its International Gateway Facilities at Al-Kheesa Cable Landing Station and Ooredoo Data Center 5

Vodafone PQSC (“Vodafone”) lodged a complaint against Ooredoo PQSC (“Ooredoo”) alleging that Ooredoo has breached Article 24 of the Telecommunications Law, which requires dominant service providers (DSP) to accede to any reasonable request for interconnection and access to its network and to that case Ooredoo refuses Vodafone’s request to access to its Cable Landing Station at Al-Kheesa and access to the ODC5 Data Centre. The CRA issued a Decision to Ooredoo to Offer interconnection and access to Vodafone in Al Khessa Cable Landing Station and ODC5 Data Centre as per Vodafone request.
