Qatar Telecom Qtel Mobile Telecommunications License

This document is a copy of the official and sealed license granted by ictQATAR to Qatar Telecom Q.S.C. (Qtel) to provide Public Mobile Telecommunications Networks and Services, as part of the process of liberalizing the telecommunications sector pursuant to Law No. (34) promulgating the Telecommunications Law, as decreed by the Emir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani. The objective of this license is to establish a fair and effective regime that meets the requirements of a Telecommunications law and promotes the development of a competitive telecommunications sector. The license outlines the basic provisions of the license, annexures that provide details about the rights, obligations and authorized activities of Qtel and a list of radio spectrum licenses that have been granted to Qtel to provide services and activities.
