Response to the Consultation on the Proposed Terms & Conditions

On 29 July 2007, ictQATAR published a consultation document on the “Proposed Terms & Conditions of the Public Telecommunications License to be issued to a new provider of Public Fixed Telecommunications Networks & Services in Qatar” and sought comments from the public on the proposed draft and the commercial opportunities and challenges likely to confront a new fixed entrant in Qatar. This document summarizes the key comments provided by the parties involved and provides an explanation of the key changes that will appear in the updated draft of the Q2 Fixed License.
