The Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) keenly supports Qatar National Sport Day 2016, a government-led initiative that contributes to the health and wellness of the communities in Qatar. This year, CRA employees gathered together to participate in a series of activities organized with the objective of team-building.
The highlight of the day’s activities was the Obstacle Race where multiple teams comprising of four employees each, attempted to cross incrementally difficult hurdles to finish the race in shortest time. Hurdles included climbing, balancing, dodging among other levels of difficulty. Each team had to work together and strategize to beat the challenge.
To ensure participation by all attendees, different categories of activities were organized. These included tug-of-war competition, volleyball tournament, table tennis, among others. One of the popular activity was the Blind Kick which saw people queue up to be blindfolded to shoot a goal.
Team-building is a highly useful activity that strengthens employees commitment to delivering CRA’s mandate of fostering a thriving communications and postal sector, access to digital media, protecting consumers and managing scarce resources, with the ultimate goal of contributing towards Qatar’s development into a smart, digitally connected nation.
