Vodafone lodged a complaint against Ooredoo for using the slogan “Best Network” based on a report on speed tests produced by Ookla. The CRA investigated these claims under the Dispute regulations process and concluded that Ooredoo did not have a valid basis to make such claims and that the report was not submitted to the CRA for approval before being used in the advertisements. The CRA issued a Decision to Ooredoo requiring the removal of all these advertisements with immediate effect as they are misleading to the public.
