President Decision No. )13) of 2019 issuing a Decision and Orders relating to The Ooredoo’s Complaint against Vodafone advertisement regarding its Passport Pack Lebanon offer

Ooredoo lodged a complaint against Vodafone regarding its advertisement stating that “Passport Pack is now available in Lebanon and on any network, exclusively from Vodafone”. The CRA investigated these representations and claims of advertisements under the Dispute Regulations process and concluded that Ooredoo’s complaint is dismissed. Their claim in relation to potential loss of revenue is unsubstantiated and vague and is accordingly dismissed. However, Vodafone cannot claim exclusivity for its Passport Pack service in Lebanon.
